Diguz Pricing Explained: Credits, Sessions, and Plans

Most cloud platforms charge you whether you use them or not. A monthly subscription ticks down whether you ran one session or a hundred. Diguz works differently — you only pay for the time your tools are actually running. Here is exactly how that works.

How Credits Work

Every account on Diguz has a credit balance made up of two types: Daily credits — automatically refreshed every 24 hours, regardless of your plan. These reset to your plan allowance each day. Use them or lose them — they do not carry over. Paid credits — added when you subscribe to a paid plan. These never expire while your subscription is active and roll over month to month. Use them at your own pace. Your total available balance is always the sum of both. When you start a session, credits are drawn from your balance in real time. When you stop the session — by closing the tab or clicking Stop — the usage stops immediately.

What Counts as a Session?

A session starts the moment you click Run Now on any tool page. We spin up a live, isolated instance of that tool on our infrastructure. The session stays active as long as your browser tab is open and connected. Every 30 seconds, your browser sends a heartbeat signal to keep the session alive. If that signal stops — because you closed the tab, shut the browser, or lost connection — the session is automatically cleaned up within a few minutes. You are never charged for time you are not using. You can see all your active sessions and your full session history in your dashboard.

The Plans

Free — The best way to start. You get daily credits that refresh every 24 hours, enough to explore tools, test workflows, and get a feel for the platform. One session at a time. No credit card required. Sign up free → Starter — For regular users who need more session time. More daily credits, plus a pool of paid credits that roll over each month. One session at a time. Pro — Built for power users. Significantly more credits, faster instance startup, and the ability to run multiple sessions simultaneously. Paid credits roll over and never expire. Business — For teams and agencies. Maximum credit allowance, priority infrastructure, and multi-session support. Ideal if you are demoing tools to clients or running parallel workflows. Do Credits Expire?

Daily credits reset every 24 hours — they do not roll over. Think of them as your daily free allowance. Paid credits never expire as long as your subscription is active. If you have a light month and barely use the platform, your unused paid credits carry forward. They accumulate until you need them. If you cancel your subscription, paid credits are cleared. Daily credits continue as long as you have a free account.

Upgrading and Downgrading

You can change your plan at any time from the pricing page. Upgrading adds your new paid credit allowance on top of whatever credits you already have. Nothing is lost. Downgrading resets your paid credits to the new plan allowance. It is worth timing a downgrade to the end of your billing cycle if you have credits left you want to use. All plan changes take effect immediately after payment is confirmed.

How It Works — Step by Step

1. Create your account. Sign up in seconds — just an email and password, or continue with GitHub. No credit card needed to get started. 2. Browse the catalog. Explore tools, filter by category — automation, AI, databases, developer tools, and more. Each tool page has a description, a README, and a Run button. 3. Start a session. Click Run Now. We provision a fresh instance in the cloud and open it in your browser. The whole process takes under 60 seconds. 4. Do your work. Use the tool exactly as if you had self-hosted it yourself. Your instance is isolated — nobody else has access to it. 5. Close when done. When you are finished, close the tab. The session ends, the instance is removed, and credits stop being used. Clean, simple, and honest.

Why Not Just Self-Host?

Self-hosting is a great long-term choice for tools you use every day. But it has real costs: a VPS typically runs $5–$20 per month per tool, plus the time to set it up, keep it updated, and manage it when things break. Diguz makes sense when: • You want to evaluate a tool before committing to self-hosting it • You use a tool occasionally and do not want to pay for idle server time • You are not technical and want the power of open-source without the DevOps headache • You need to demo a live tool to a client or teammate quickly For tools you run every single day, self-hosting may eventually be cheaper. For everything else, Diguz is faster, simpler, and often more cost-effective.
