Everything you need to understand and get started with Diguz.

Getting Started

Running a tool on Diguz takes less than a minute. Here's how it works:

  1. 1Create a free account — no credit card required.
  2. 2Browse the tool catalog and find something you want to try.
  3. 3Click "Run Now" on the tool page.
  4. 4Your instance opens in a new tab, ready to use.
  5. 5Click "Stop" when you're done — you only pay for what you use.

What is self-hosting?

Traditional self-hosting means running software on your own server. You're responsible for setting up Docker, keeping the software updated, managing backups, and making sure it stays online. It gives you full control — but it requires real technical effort.

Diguz handles all of that for you. We provision a fresh container, install the tool, and hand you a live URL — all in under 60 seconds. When you stop the session, we tear it down. No server to maintain, no config files to write.

Like renting a car instead of buying one — you get all the functionality without the maintenance.

What is open-source?

Open-source software is software whose code is made public. Anyone can read it, inspect it, modify it, and run it. That transparency is what makes open-source tools trustworthy — there are no hidden trackers, no secret data collection, no lock-in.

Most open-source tools are free to use. The catch is that you need somewhere to run them — normally a server with Docker and a bunch of configuration. That's the barrier Diguz removes.

Every tool in the Diguz catalog is open-source. You can inspect the source code yourself, or simply trust that the community already has.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to code?

Not at all. Every tool on Diguz has a visual interface — no terminal, no command line.

What happens to my data when I stop a session?

When you stop a session, the container is deleted. Save any important work before stopping.

Can I run multiple tools at the same time?

Yes, each tool runs in its own isolated container.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan gives you 60 min/mo to explore tools at no cost.

How is this different from using Docker myself?

With Docker you install software, manage ports, write config files, handle updates. With Diguz, you click one button.
